This policy covers Pelris’s public website at pelris.com. It is deliberately short, because this site does very little with personal information.

The company responsible for this site and the information it collects is Pelris Technologies LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste 4676, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA.

What this site collects

One thing: what you type into the demo request form. That is your name, email address, phone number, company name, roughly how many clients you expect, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing on the form is collected unless you submit it.

We also record which page you arrived from, so we know whether a request came from a search result, a link, or directly.

What we do with it

We contact you about your demo request, and we keep a record of the conversation so that whoever picks it up knows what was already discussed. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. It is not used to build advertising profiles.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It tells us things like which country a visit came from and which page was most popular. We do not use it to identify individual people.

We also run advertising measurement on this site: a Google Ads conversion tag and a Reddit advertising pixel, so that when we pay for an ad we can tell whether it actually led anywhere. These run on our public marketing pages only. They are not present in the client trading terminal or the staff CRM, and they never receive trading activity, account balances, or anything about your positions.

If you submit the contact form, the advertising platforms may receive a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your email address so the ad you clicked can be matched to the enquiry. They do not receive it in readable form from us.

If you would rather not be counted, any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics or advertising trackers will stop all of the above, and nothing on the site will break.

Accounts on this site

There are none. You cannot create an account on pelris.com. The staff CRM and the client trading platform are separate products, used by brokers and by that broker’s own clients, and each is governed by the agreement between Pelris and that broker rather than by this policy.

Where Pelris operates a platform on a broker’s behalf, that broker decides what happens to their clients’ data. We process it on their instructions and do not use it for our own purposes.

Artificial intelligence

Nothing on this website is processed by AI. The demo form goes to people, and a person replies to it.

The platform we build does use AI, and because we operate it on a broker’s behalf we set out here exactly where. There are four places, all of them inside the broker’s own staff CRM and none of them visible to, or reachable by, that broker’s clients:

  • A written brief about one client, drawn from that client’s own record, to help the agent handling them prepare.
  • A summary of what needs attention across the desk that day.
  • A free-text question a staff member can ask about their own book.
  • Transcription of recorded calls. Where a broker records calls, the recording is sent to a specialist speech-to-text service, turned into text, and summarised onto the call record.

Three points about all four. First, the AI only ever receives what the staff member asking already has permission to see: the limit is applied to the data before the model is called, not to the answer afterwards. Second, our AI providers act on our instructions only: they are contractually barred from using anything sent to them to train their own models. Third, no decision that affects a person is made by the AI. It drafts and summarises for a human, and a human decides.

AI output can be wrong. It is written to be checked, not relied upon, and it is never the record: the underlying account, trade and call data is.

Age

This site and our software are for businesses. They are not intended for children, and nothing here is aimed at them.

We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18, and our software is not to be used to open a trading account for anyone under 18. Trading is an adults-only regulated activity, and every broker using our platform is required to verify the age and identity of their clients before an account is funded.

If you believe a child has given us information, tell us through the contact form and we will delete it. We will do the same on a broker’s platform, at that broker’s instruction, if an underage account is discovered.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run this site and reply to you: our hosting provider, our database provider, our email provider, and Google Analytics. Each sees only what it needs to do its job, and none of them is permitted to use your information for their own ends.

For the platform we operate on a broker’s behalf, the same principle applies to a slightly longer list, because it does more: hosting, database, email, error monitoring, the market data feed, and the AI providers named in the section above.

Where it is held

Our hosting, database and AI providers operate from data centres in the United States and Europe, and our mail provider from Canada. If you are writing to us from somewhere else, your information is transferred to those places so that we can hold it and reply to you.

We use established providers who commit contractually to protecting it, and we do not move it anywhere beyond what is needed to run the service.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests for as long as there is a realistic prospect of working together, and delete them when there plainly is not. If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we will.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for a copy of it, or tell us to stop using it. Use the contact form and say so plainly, and we will action it rather than negotiate. We will not charge you and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Depending on where you live, those may be rights you hold in law rather than courtesies: under the UK and EU GDPR, and under state privacy laws in the United States, among others. We apply them to everyone regardless, because keeping two standards is how the wrong one gets used.

If you are a client of a broker who runs our software, we hold your information on that broker’s instructions rather than our own. Ask them first. They can action it directly. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will help.

Keeping it safe

Access is limited to the people who need it, staff sign-ins are individual rather than shared, and stored passwords are encrypted. The public website and the platform are separate systems: nothing you type into the form on this site touches a broker’s trading data.

No system is perfectly secure. If something happens to information we hold about you and it puts you at real risk, we will tell you and the relevant regulator rather than wait to be asked.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, the date at the top changes with it.
